PUTT

Putt is a satiric, circus-inspired, queer musical set in a near-future society obsessed with mini-golf. In the world of “On-Course,” everything revolves around a rigged game. Life is a spectacle; a competition where status is measured by height and the size of your stilts. There are players and workers; winners and losers; all trapped in an endless cycle of upward striving. Our story follows three narcissistic aristocrats and their caddy as they navigate a turbulent journey of trial, obstacles and revelations. After a shocking act of revolution is enacted by the “Off-Coursers” against the Crown, our anti-hero party embarks on a mission determined to protect their society. However, what starts as a journey of “patriotism” quickly reveals deep cracks in the “On-Course” society and forces our adventurers to confront the uncomfortable truths about those forced to live “Off-Course”.
